I kept missing birthdays.

Not because I didn't care. I'd have the date in my phone, sometimes even in my calendar. But the notification would pop up on the day itself, I'd be in the middle of something, swipe it away, and forget. By the time I remembered, it was too late to call, too late to get a gift, too late to do anything but feel bad about it.

This happened enough times that I decided to fix it for good.

BoldRemind is the tool I built for myself. You give it a date, it emails you a few days before. If you ignore it, it emails you again. And again. Until you acknowledge it. No app to install, no account to create, no notifications to miss in a sea of other notifications. Just an email in your inbox, hard to ignore.

It's a one-person project. No venture capital, no growth team, no 50-person engineering department. Just me, building something that works and keeping it running.
